You are invited to Operation Deep Dive in South Alabama. This is a public meeting exploring Community-Based research into determining factors for Veteran Suicide. Dr. Karl Hamner (University of Alabama) and Dr. Phillip Smith (University of South Alabama), will present on the topic of individual and community factors related to suicide and self-harm among Veterans. The research team will lead a discussion to explore aspects of our community that impact Veterans in positive and negative ways. Your input on local resources and challenges may be helpful in understanding how to prevent Veteran suicide in South Alabama. Each one of us can make a difference.

LoDa ArtWalk is a monthly event where in the community is invited to come downtown and enjoy local art, artists, galleries, and other great venues. ArtWalk takes place every second Friday of the month from 6 to 9 p.m. in the Lower Dauphin (LoDa) Arts District.
